Carrot Ginger Cider

This Carrot Ginger Cider recipe is sure to please even the most picky of palates! Super tasty, healthy, and gives you the energy you need to tackle all of the challenges that come along with preparing for back-to-school and figuring out the best way to start fresh this fall!

- 2 cups local apple cider or not-from-concentrate apple juice;
- 3 medium carrots (organic if you can);
- 1/2 to 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger
- 1 cup ice (add another cup of ice if you’d like a slushier version – kids love it. Or, try coconut water ice cubes – they’re a delightful variation!)
The Steps to Take
Place all ingredients in a high-powered food processor (Vitamix, Ninja, etc) in the order listed and make sure the lid is on tight!
Start the machine slowly, then increase to the highest speed and blend for 45 seconds or until smooth consistency is reached.
