Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups local apple cider or not-from-concentrate apple juice;
  • 3 medium carrots (organic if you can);
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 cup ice (add another cup of ice if you’d like a slushier version – kids love it. Or, try coconut water ice cubes – they’re a delightful variation!)

The Steps to Take

Step 1:

Place all ingredients in a high-powered food processor (Vitamix, Ninja, etc) in the order listed and make sure the lid is on tight!

Step 2:

Start the machine slowly, then increase to the highest speed and blend for 45 seconds or until smooth consistency is reached.

Step 3:
